beautiful piece, can't quite figure out the medium here but I adore the affect you managed to reach. I stumbled across this looking at Dark Natasha's front page. I was at AC last year and though I am NOT, by any means, a big name...I do hope if you approached me I wasn't rude. I chose not to attend ac this year because of how stressed I was at my first 2 ac's...I really respect DN for how she manages to say so sweet...friendly and productive at cons..time after time....not to mention just being around her is like having the sun come out and warm your heart . Again wonderful piece

Thank you! The piece is charcoal, which I tend to use for most of my realism.

I remember you and you were quite friendly, you are most certainly not the artist who was rude, and we briefly discussed polyphemus moths.

I wondered if it was charcoal..it had that texture..I also just noticed how the flowers in the background resemble stained glass framings !

MOTHS!!! I am still hoping to do a series of moth/cat crosses, the variety and beauty of moths continues to amaze me..and for that matter butterflies get too much glitz :/.
