My centerpiece for Anthrocon, which I plan to have scanned before I sell it. Tjis is a photo, it completely ruined the contrast and levels, but this is still one of my best pieces to date, if not the best.

Charcoal on 14x17 bristol board, for sale at Anthrocon.

Wow, what a gorgeous drawing... The moth is my favourite part, you did the wings absolutely beautifully! And the texture of the fur must have taken ages. I love all the small details and how there are only the slightest hints of brown and other tints throughout the image. Truly amazing work!

Just practice and patience, really. I actually did this piece four years ago, so I don't recall much about the process, really. I only recently took up charcoal again and had to re-learn everything as I went.
